| For most children, the holidays mean spending time with family, exchanging gifts and celebrating the season. For many Boys Town youth who grew up in neighborhoods plagued by poverty, crime and substance abuse, the holidays were just another day, no different from any other time of the year. That’s why the holidays are so special at Boys Town. When these kids become part of our Boys Town family, they get to experience their first real Christmas or holiday season. And we do everything we can to make this time of the year exciting and meaningful for our youth and their families. We’d love for people like you to show these kids that the holidays can be magical and filled with joy and hope. Last year we asked our supporters to send an eCard to the kids on our campus, and the kids loved it so much that we wanted to make it an annual tradition.
