| "It's a place where I love." It’s amazing to hear our kids talk about love and mean it. Kahla came from a home where her mother’s boyfriends abused her. And her mom did too when she was drunk or high. When Kahla was taken from that awful environment and into foster care, she was told she couldn’t see her mother again until she was 18. To this day, she still chooses not to. Innocent children should never have to endure this kind of pain and suffering. Thank goodness for friends like you!
