Happy New Year! Have you thought about any New Year’s resolutions yet? If you haven’t, cut yourself some slack! It’s understandable given what a challenging year last year was for most of us. As we turn the page to 2021, there are many signs of hope that life is headed back toward a bit of normalcy

One of our favorite sayings is: You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first. It highlights how vital it is to make self-care and your mental health a priority. When you do, it makes it a bit easier to accept and deal with your current circumstances. Also, it allows you to feel better about yourself and to be a better spouse, parent, family member and friend to those around you.

Boys Town friend and Emmy winning actor, Jacob Young, recently launched a new podcast series called 'Real Conversations With Jacob Young'. As someone who has struggled with mental health, he is bringing together experts and friends to discuss real challenges and struggles many people are facing every day. In this episode, Jacob chats with Emmy-nominated Country singer/songwriter Billy Gilman and a Boys Town National Hotline expert, discussing bullying and how to cope or help someone you love get through it.
