At Boys Town, Black History Month is a month-long celebration that echoes our commitment to recognizing the remarkable contributions of African Americans. What started in 1926 as a week-long observance by historian Carter G. Woodson has blossomed into a powerful, annual tribute each February.
This special month offers us the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the monumental achievements and relentless spirit of a few of our accomplished alumni.
