May 28, 2014 Lilia There are few places in the City where $150 will buy you lunch, have a photo taken with a leading political, government or broadcasting figure and contribute to a child's well being all at the same time, but the Police Athleic League Luncheon series is one of these places. This month's speaker is New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer. The Comptroller recently announced an oversight committee to watch the distribution of Sandy Funds. Mr. Stringer was elected to the New York State Assembly in 1992, representing Manhattan’s Upper West Side for 13 years, and won election in 2006 as Manhattan Borough President. He was elected Comptroller on November 5, 2013. As usual, these Luncheon sell out quickly.. this one especilly. So RSVP to today. See you later this month. The tax deductible $150 is the best bargin for the best cause in town... our kids. The Police Athletic League is one of the largest after school care programs in the City. So I hope to see you. Please call or email if you have any questions.
